SIAPAKAH ANDA YG SEBENARNYA?

PADA BATU     /         STONES

PADA  PASIR    /         SANDS

 PADA AIR         /         WATER

ADA TIGA KATEGORI MANUSIA DI DALAM DUNIA INI
THERE ARE THREE CATEGORIES OF MEN IN THIS WORLD

PERTAMA:

YANG SIFATNYA UMPAMA HURUF-HURUF DIPAHAT PADA BATUAN KERAS.  MEREKA INI MUDAH MARAH, SUKA MENGHAMBUR KEMARAHAN DAN KEMUDIAN MENYIMPAN PERASAAN MARAH ITU BERSERTA DENDAM KESUMAT DALAM TEMPOH WAKTU YANG PANJANG.

KEDUA:

YANG SIFATNYA SEPERTI HURUF DILAKAR  PADA HAMPARAN PASIR. MEREKA MUDAH MARAH TETAPI HANYA SEBENTAR SAHAJA, KEMUDIAN MELUPAKANNYA.

KETIGA:

YANG SIFATNYA SEPERTI HURUF-HURUF DITULIS PADA AIR YANG MENGALIR.  MEREKA TIDAK MENYIMPAN SEBARANG PERASAAN BURUK DAN TIDAK MENGENDAHKAN KATA-KATA MAUPUN KHABAR ANGIN YANG NEGATIF.

FIKIRAN MANUSIA SEPERTI INI SENTIASA BERSIH, TULIN DAN TIDAK MAMPU DIGANGGU-GUGAT OLEH SESIAPA, DAN APA PUN JUA.

Ain Yoli no 3, tak kisah apa-apapun, rezekiku Allah yg tentukan. ahaks.

"Fikiran saya kata begitu.  Setiap pagi saya akan buat keputusan sama ada memikirkan kepayahan atau bangun dengan penuh kegembiraan, lalu saya bersyukur kepada Tuhan yang memberi peluang saya bernafas lagi," jawab wanita tua itu.

"Usia tua sama seperti akaun bank.  Kita akan keluarkan apa yang telah lama kita simpan," kata wanita itu lagi, yang mengaku dia hidup sendirian selepas suaminya meninggal dunia.

Sambil tersenyum, wanita tua itu mengingatkan jururawat itu tentang lima prinsip amalannya selama ini.

Jangan Aniaya Orang.

             Sentiasa Bebaskan Hati Daripada Rasa

PEMIKIRAN NEGATIF MENGUNDANG PENYAKIT

The National Academy of Sciences.

WHAT TO EAT WHEN...............

Whether we're feeling blue, working against the clock or cooking up a little romance, food considerations ineviably come into play.       Everyday, we make dozens of decisions regarding"what to eat," based not so much on what we're hungry for, but on what will "do the trick".

Here are some cases in point - food prescriptions for special situations that can tip the balance in how you feel or perform.

Make a chocolate shake, It will set you back 320 calories but amazingly, only five per cent of those calories come from fat.

You've just finished a course of  antibiotic treatment - Replenish the good bacteria in your gut with yogurt.  For best results, be sure the yogurt contains active Lactobacillus acidophillus cultures, check the label.

You're ravenously hungry.  Began your meal with minestrone soup.  A lot of research over the years suggests that soup can help tame an out-of-control appetite.

Researchers speculate that, with all its liquid, soup takes up a larger volume of space in the stomach.  Also, most of soup's calories come from carbohydrates are more satisfying.

You're rocking on a boat.  Suck on crystallised ginger. |Ginger is an important agent in combating nausea.
NOTE:  Eating ginger candy may be inadvisable if you are pregnant; check with your physician.

You feel a migraine coming on.  Have a couple cups of coffee.  Coffee "addicts" can get clobbered with caffeine-withdrawal headaches when they quit cold turkey.  But for those who take it in moderation,  a strong cup or two can abort a migraine in the making.

Migraines are usually caused by the dilation of blood vessels, and caffeine constricts blood vessels.  For best results, swallow an aspirin or other mild analgesic along with a caffeine-laced drink.

You crave potato chips.  Switch to lightly salted pretzel chips.  They're crunchy like potato chips, but that's where the similarity ends.  Potato chips get about 60 per cents of their calories from fat, pretzel chips are only about 15 per cent fat.

You've been struck by Montezuma's revenge.  Whip up a banana-orange blender drink.  Getting the runs is no fun..  But your condition could deteriorate even further if you don't replenish lost fluids and important nutrients.

From this standpoint, orange juice has it all - water, vitamins, minerals and calories.  To make a good drink even better, blend in a ripe banana.  Banana are are an excellent source of potassium, which diarrhoea often depletes from the body.  Plus they contain pectin, a form of fibre which absorbs water like a sponge.

Your growling stomach won't let you fall asleep.  Peel into a banana.  It's guaranteed to satisfy, yet it's easier to digest than many foods.

You're giving a keynote address.  Sip a tall glass of water.  According to Dr George I Blackburn, chief of the nutrition/metabolism laboratory at New England Deaconness Hospital, Boston, water is one of the best remedies for stress.  Drinking water can help prevent dehydration, counter-acting the dry mouth, sweaty palms and heart palpitations that accompany high anxiety.

You've got a three-alarm fire raging in your mouth.  Swish your mouth with milk.  Contrary to popular practice, water won't squelch a hot-pepper burn.  Capsaicin, the chemical component that gives red chillies their bite, is actually dispersed by water, so flushing your mouth with it is likely to spread the fire.  Whole milk makes a better fire extinguisher because the milk fat absorbs the capsaicin.

You've got a cold  Take out an order of Chinese bot-and-sour- soup.  Chicken soup, researchers tell us, is a powerful expectorant; that is, it promotes mucus flow, which eases congestion.  They speculate that breathing the vapours helps open clogged nasal passages and consuming the liquid thins the mucus so it readily drains.

You're really hot.  Spring for some spicy hot chilli.  Eating spicy foods helps dilate blood vessels, making you sweat.  Ans sweating is part of nature's body-cooling mechanism; as perspiration evaporates, your skin temperature drops.

You're rushing from the office to the gym for a 7pm workout.  Pre-treat with a sports drink.  After a long day at work, your stomach may say "eat".  But eating too much before you work out can cause stomach cramps.  So drink something instead.  Drinking a good sports deink right before exercising can provide some carbohydrates for energy, plus lots of liquid and some minerals that you're likely to lose in sweat.

Keep in mind too, that once you start working up that sweat, your appetite will naturally wane due to increased blood circulation.

You're feeling blue.  Curl up with a cup of your favourite tea or frozen yogurt, then take a walk.  You can't binge away the blues.  But unfortunately. many people think they can. This is the bad time to give to your cravings because you can overeat and end up feeling more depressed than when you started.

It takes about 10 to 20 minutes for the carbohydrates in the yogurt to enter your bloodstream.  So by the time you return from your walk, your desire to binge will be purged.

You're snack-happy.  Seek out a street vendor selling roasted chestnuts.  With about eight per cent of their calories from fat (compared with over 70 per cent for most other nuts), chestnuts make a deliciously healthy, high-energy snack.

You're breast-feeding a finicky baby.  Indulge in a garlic-lovers' feast and maybe a side order of garlic bread.  According to a recent study, babies actually suckle longer at the breasts of mothers who consume garlic, which contains highly detectable sulphur compounds.

You want to gain some weight.  Lunch on peanut-butter-and-banana sandwiches (on whole-grain bread).  You can gainweight eating ice cream, chocolate bars, potato chips - all the foods that are taboo if your cholestrol level will shoop up faster that your weight does.

For healthy weight gain, focus instead on foods that are naturally high in calories and fibre but low in saturated fat and cholesterol.

Bananas are calorically dense and contain virtually no fat.  Peanuts are also leaded with calories.  Although most of them are fat calories, the fat is mono-unsaturated, which appears to be heart-healthy when eaten in moderation.

You overslept and don't have time for breakfast.  Whip up an instant fruit 'n' oatmeal smoothie.  For brain power, weight control and all-day energy, there's no meal more important than breakfast, nutritionists insist.  So don't shortchange it; just shortcut it.

Always keep a few peeled banana halves along with an assortment of other fruit in the freezer.  Then if you hit a daybreak time crunch, toss a frozen banana half, one-half of a frozen ripe persimmon, abo
ut a half cup of frozen berries or other frozen into a blender.  Add a cup of low-fat or non-fat milk and two tablespoons rolled oats.  Whirl until frothy; pour into a tall glass, and dust with cinnamon or nutmeg.  Voila: a high-fibre, high-energy breakfast.

You're planning a little romance after dinner.  Dine on grilled shrimp with wild rice.  A candlelight dinner sounds like a romantic notion.  But too often the dinner can kil the romance.   The onions give you gas, the garlic fouls your breath and the wine puts you to sleep.  Instead, complex carbohydrates, like rice, can provide the energy to keep you going till that last good-night kiss.E

AGE IS JUST A NUMBER: Believe You're Younger and Your Health Will Follow.

Maybe age really is just a number.  How young or old someone feel has a huge influence on their health and how other people view them.

An article published in Perspectives on Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science, reviews the research and suggests that feeling young can actually make you look young - and have the health of a younger person, too.

Harvard Psychological Scientist Ellen Langer has been studying how the mind influences the body for over three decades.

In one classic study, she had old men live in a retreat that was retrofitted to look like it was 20 years earlier, while they pretended that they were living in that year "Their minds were in the past. Their vision improved, their strength improved, and so on" she says.  Larger cowrote the new article with Laura M Hsu of Harvard and Jaewoo Chung of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In one study by Langer and her colleagues, women had their hair cut and dyed at a hair salon, and volunteers looked at before and after pictures of the women.

Those women who believed having their hair dyed made them look younger actually did look younger after the salon visit, according the the observers who were shown photos of their faces only.  Women who didn't believe they looked younger with dyed hair didn't have that benefit.

Past researched has found that male-paten baldness increases the risk of prostate cancer.  Langer and her colleagues hypothesize that this might be because balding men feel older, everyday in the mirror, they get a stark visual reminder that they're aging.  (Prostate cancer is more common in older men).

Some heart problems are also linked with balding.  There's no clear biological reason for why hair loss and heart problem would go together, the men's own feeling about their age could be partly to blame.

Older first time mothers are often healthier as they age than women who have their first children younger..  Maybe, Langer said because they're spending their time with younger women at play grounds and Preschools.

And people who married older partner's have a shorter life expenctancy, while those who marry younger partners live longer.

So if Langer and her colleagues are right and feeling young makes you healthier, what can you do about it? One route is to dress like a teenager, dye your hair, and find a younger boyfriend.  But Langer has another solution "Don't buy the mindset in the first place.  Then u won't be vulnerable to it" she says "I think we have far more control over our health and wellbeings than most of us realize"

BITING YOUR TONGUE

Salam Kekayaan Anak-Anak Bertuah,, semoga diberkati selalu ok.

 BITING YOUR TONGUE

Here are 7 ways to avoid arguments, eliminate stress, and ultimately, achieve a happier, healthier relationship.

The dictionary defines the term biting your tongues as - making a conscious effort to not say anything for the sake of politeness or peace.

So, in the name of Peace, here are some effective ways to avoid ugly arguments without pulling all your hairs out.

1.  ASK IS IT WORTH IT?

There is a time and place for speaking one's mind; being right or having the last word isn't the ultimate goal all the time.

Wisdom plays a large role in deciding when we need to bite our tongue for the greater good - to keep the peace.

Not being able to speak our mind during an argument or discussion is not an easy feat. But it all boils down to one thing - is being right worth all the heartache?

Sometimes, losing in an argument could mean winning a loving relationship.

2.  YOU CAN STOP IT.  YES YOU CAN STOP ARGUING!

This might come as  a revelation to many but it takes responsibility and not shove the blame to the other party.

Take a deep breath and distance yourself for a few seconds.  Instead, make this your new mantra every time you feel like responding to an argument - "Fine.  He is trying to argue but I am not going to".

Here is the thing - if you deny fire oxygen, it won't burn and if you refuse to be goaded into an argument, there won't be one.

Use your energy instead to recognise and focus on things that you two can agree on.  This is because people are more willing to cooperate when they feel you are trying to connect with them.

Use "agreement statements" that can help bring a breakthrough to any disputes - "I can see why you would think that..." or "I can see your point and ...."

And more importantly, after asking the questions, make sure you really listen to their answers.

3.  HOLD THE INSULT

Author Mark tyrell states in his article, Stop Arguing Your Relationship to Death that character assassination is a huge no-no when it comes to keeping friends and lovers.  Do not over-generalise negatively about the other person's whole identity.

If your other half forgot to pick up your dry cleaning, do not criticise his whole character,"You are so insensitive!" What you can do is to concentrate on the complaint itself, "I'm upset you forgot my dry cleaning when i specifically told you I needed that dress for tonight".

So, remember to voice the current issue and not generalise your criticism on someone's whole character.

4.  HOLD THAT THOUGHT AND TONGUE

Sometimes being totally honest by voicing every thought and having everything out in the open can be disastrous.  Couples and best friends who stuck with ech other through time have learned one important thing - to not go there.

They learn about each other's sensitive issues and learn to steer clear of those topics even when things get heated up.  So wise up and learn to keep quiet about things if you know someone will only get upset when you talk about it.    Don't use it as leverage even when you a tempted to.  For the sake of great relationships, learn to hold it in!

5.  THINK ABOUT BETTER TIMES

When you feel yourself starting to get riled up and about to chew the other party's head off, do a quick mental switch with this trick.

Before you get too heated up, think about the nice things that the other person has done for you recently.

Start with the most recent incident and then move on to things that person did that touched you.  What this technique does  is snap you out of your angry mode and change your perception of the argument.........

When your memory reminds you how the other person was there for you during your meltdown, arguing about whose turn it was to take out the trash seems trivial.  When the good feelings toward the other person come into play, you find yourself softening and able to graciously give way.

6.  DON'T BRING UP THE PAST

During a disagreement, never dig up the past - it won't resolve the current issue and will only escalate a simple disagreement into a full-blown argument. Making a pact not to mention the past will effectively stop the argument from spiraling out of control.

Agree on a reasonable time frame for all arguments - nothing over a two-week period is a good example.

Constantly going back to stuff someone did wrong weeks, months, or years ago is harmful to relationship.  What's in the past should stay in the past and it's time to move on.

Arguments become shorter when both parties have less ammunition to fire at one another.  All said and done, let's leave time travel to the movies where it's more entertaining!.

7.  SORRY IS A MAGICAL WORD

Research shows that people who are able to apologise are more likely to be married and stay married longer than those who can never say, "Sorry."

Learn to eat humble pie once in a while and admit when you are wrong.  This tip works for all relationships.

At time, apologising doesn't mean you are admitting you are at fault.  It can mean that you are sorry about the situation - "I am sorry this turned out badly."

The effect of that word does something to an argument  - it can diffuse animosity in a flash.

It calms the the other party down and enables a proper conversation to take place.

Try it and see the magic takes place!

ALAHAI ANAKKU SAYANG

 Salam Kekayaan Anak-Anakku

"Dimana salah aku mendidiknya?  Di hadapan aku dia sungguh sopan dan lemah lembut tuturkatanya.  Aku dah tak kenal dia lagi ain"

Saya hanya boleh mendengar dan menasihatinya agar berjumpa guru konsuler di sekolah. kerana saya juga masih belajar menjadi ibu kepada anak-anak remaja saya.

Pesan Nenek   kebayan Comel:
